This should be handled IC. Hire a lawyer and sue the person who shot you with the LMG instead of relying on OOC punishment.
As for LEOs, they should enter the house, announce themselves, locate and detain everyone, and may use a taser immediately. Lethal force should only be used if there's valid IC reason to believe the suspect is armed or poses a deadly threat.
