I had not entered the event zone yet when I was shot and killed. It came up on my screen and said ID 43 but the clip cut it short

There were already other gang members in the zone, and you were standing just outside. With the way that the zone boundaries are set up and not visible at ground level, we can not expect anyone to be able to differentiate between that small of a difference in where you were standing. ​
